What is THERAPY?

Therapy, also called counselling or psychotherapy, is a short or a long term intervention by a registered clinical professional. It is designed to assess all areas of one's life, create an in depth understanding of one's presenting concerns and develop a comprehensive plan of intervention. It often involves homework that one has to complete between sessions and a regular measurement of symptoms to determine if there is an improvement.

The FOCUS in individual therapy can on the following:

Individual Therapy Session Fees
60 minute individual therapy session hour

Each session is about 60 minutes long unless the extended option is requested. Sessions are planned as your schedule allows. However, for the maximum benefit, at the start of therapy, it is recommended to have sessions planned within 1-2 week intervals.

Extended Session Discounted Fees
90 minute individual therapy session

Great option for those who have a lot on the mind, bring in a very complicated matter and love to talk. Book an 90 minute session and save!

120 minute individual therapy session

Great option for those who travel a long distance and have a lot on the mind. Book a 120 minute session and save!

Sliding Scale Fees

Sliding rate fees are available to single parents, no-income individuals and ministerial services. Please discuss your concerns in advance with the therapist to possibly negotiate the fees.
